新任監察委員明天起分三批報到，新任監委王幼玲今天表示，很緊張，因為任期短，要做很多事，會特別關心勞權與社福議題；新任監委瓦歷斯．貝林則說，會關心原住民司法人權。
總統府17日發布總統令，特任王幼玲、田秋堇、瓦歷斯．貝林（Walis．Perin）、林盛豐、高涌誠、張武修、陳師孟、楊芳婉、趙永清、蔡崇義、楊芳玲為監察院第五屆監察委員，任期至民國109年7月31日止。
11名監委，未來將分三批報到，田秋堇、林盛豐、瓦歷斯．貝林（Walis．Perin）24日報到，楊芳婉、陳師孟29日報到，其他6位監委則集中在22日。
明天將報到的王幼玲上午告訴中央社記者，她很緊張，因為任期短，要做很多事；她接任後，會關心社福與勞權議題，例如勞動基準法部分條文修正案日前三讀通過，後續有關放寬「7休1」與輪班間隔適用例外8小時的行業如何選定、勞檢是否落實、是否有防止過勞的監測機制等。
有關社福議題，王幼玲表示，雖然現在有低底盤公車，但身障者上下車非常困難，恐影響身障者社會參與，希望能全面檢討。
趙永清說，他會好好努力並準備，打算選擇參加監察院內政及少數民族、財政及經濟、交通及採購等3個委員會。至於上任後打算查哪些案子？他說，會先了解整個狀況。
原定明天報到改為24日的瓦歷斯．貝林告訴中央社記者，他會特別關心原住民司法人權問題，之前曾有原住民採收愛玉被送進法院，其實原住民族基本法對於自用的森林產物都有除罪規定，但許多基層員警不了解，遭移送的原住民經過法院審理最後無罪，勞民傷財的事件層出不窮，有必要深入調查。
